This summer, TANDEM Rome, Torre di Babele Italian school has organized an intensive Italian language course for lovers of design, fashion, graphic arts, film, and photography. In collaboration with the Istituto Europeo di Design, «IED Rome», Torre di Babele offers a three week full immersion course in Italian language and style.

Not only will you improve your Italian skills, but you will also get an insider’s view of film, photography, fashion and architecture. The Italian and design program includes design theory and planning, visits to advertising agencies, design firms and fashion studios.

 Classes have a maximum of 12 students of various nationalities. Instructors are specialized in the teaching of Italian as a second language, using a direct communicative method, which encourages the students to actively practice the language. Particular emphasis is given to conversation skills, allowing students to express themselves and interact in Italian from the very first day of the course.

Total program hours: 80 (40 hours Italian language; 40 hours design)

Schedule:
Language classes: Monday through Friday mornings
Design: Monday through Friday afternoons during the first two weeks; mornings the third week.

Language of instruction: Italian, with English tutors

July 5 through July 23, 2010
August 30 through September 17, 2010

Complete package:  1450 € (including enrollment fee)
Course tuition only: 1000 €
Enrollment fee: 25 € (it includes extra-curricular activities, teaching material, a certificate of course completion and «TANDEM» service)
