TANDEMcity is a virtual city for language and culture sharing. The TANDEMcity community includes people from all around the world interested in language exchange and language learning. TANDEMcity provides you with state-of-the-art, easy to use tools to help you learn and practice foreign languages while sharing your mother tongue, meeting people, and having fun.

TANDEMcity is brought to you by TANDEM® International, a network of independent language schools of England, Ireland, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Chile. All the TANDEM International Member Schools have adopted the TANDEM Method, developed by the TANDEM Foundation, which means that all schools place special emphasis on the cultural integration of their students, through facilitating language exchange with native speakers.

At the confluence of the rivers Beiro, Darro and Genil, at 738 metres above sea level, lies Granada, in Andalusia, Spain.

Granada is famous as a university city with a vibrant night-life, but also for its Moorish design and Spanish Gothic style architecture, the Gitano culture of the Sacromonte neighbourhood, and for its free tapas at bars and pubs.

The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, is one of the most famous items of the Islamic historical legacy that makes Granada a hot spot among cultural and tourist cities in Spain. The Almohad urbanism with some fine examples of Moorish and Morisco constructions is preserved at the part of the city called the Albaicín.
